Storage Containers & Portioning Support Available

You may request food-safe storage containers at the park — just let the Food Manager know what you need. When you arrive, you'll also receive support dividing your contribution into proper portions so every family is served safely and there's plenty to go around.

🔥 Cooking Safely

Cook foods to a safe minimum internal temperature, checked with a food thermometer:

Food	Min. Temp
Poultry (chicken, turkey)	165°F
Ground meats	155°F
Pork, beef, fish (whole cuts)	145°F
Reheated leftovers	165°F
Smoked / BBQ meats	Hold at 135°F+

Wash hands and surfaces often. Never let raw meat juices touch cooked or ready-to-eat foods.

❄ Storing Safely

Keep food out of the "Danger Zone" (41°F – 135°F), where bacteria grow fastest.

❄ Cold foods: hold at 41°F or below (salads, dips, desserts with dairy).
🔥 Hot foods: hold at 135°F or above (beans, rice, BBQ, casseroles).
⏱ Don't leave perishables out more than 2 hours — or 1 hour if it's above 90°F outside.
🧊 Label dishes with your name and what's inside.

🚗 Delivering to the Park

🧊 Transport cold dishes in coolers with ice or ice packs.
🔥 Transport hot dishes in insulated carriers; wrap in towels to hold heat.
🚙 Keep food in the cabin (A/C), not a hot trunk.
📦 Request storage containers at the park in advance.
🍽 On arrival, staff will help portion your dish safely.
👐 Bring serving utensils and clean hands/gloves for serving.
